Community Matters
Building safer schools through youth development.
There’s a better way to tackle troubled youth.
Community Matters offers nationwide youth leadership programs to help make schools safer.
The U.S. is facing a crisis within our youth. Between school shootings, violence, bullying, suicide, and drug use, our children are struggling. This is why we want to tackle the problem at a root level. Our “Safe School Ambassador Program” provides training to students and school staff members to better address conflict while promoting positive role models.
Every child wants to belong. We all crave purpose, power, and placement. But how we find that sense of belonging can go into two different directions. For many, that sense of belonging goes in a harmful direction. Our mission is to provide a positive alternative.

Our mission is to use “Restorative Practices” to help listen and empower our youth while also providing positive, impactful training for students and school staff members.
